Hi Manu, I never used replication but as far as I understood from the sessions at the IBM information management conferences there are too many issues involved in this. Instead there is a better option that does not have any of those problems:
Consider using "transaction logging". Replicate the transaction logs to the second server and restore your data from them. I have not used this either but it should help you getting around most of the issues that replication has. Replication is better used in scenarios where single files have to be replicated between machines, not whole applications or even servers.
