When we print very large jobs, either to HP laser printers with a
JetDirect card, or to label printers, on a JetDirect print server, the job
prints fine, then starts over. I've been thinking it might be a buffer
overflow, but can't track it down.
We have had similar issues due to a flaky network cables -- the jobs
kept erroring and AIX would just restart the job.
What platform are you on? perhaps it is your local queue config -- I
would try sending a large job from an non-U2 source and see what happens.
