We were not thrilled with Universe replication efforts, so we wrote our own.
There was a lot of setup involved and program changes that we did not want
to make.  Also, we use Unidata and the two systems at the time we looked at
them did not support the same model.

Our solution does not use the publish type model and is much easier to
implement.  You just need to call a single subroutine where you do your
writes or build a trigger on the files you want to replicate.
