Hi thanks for the input from Sara, Adrian, Jeff and Tom Our source database should be fairly quiet on the weekend when we start this process (except when someone bursts a high pressure water main next to our gas pipes in Wellington). A weekly rsync is all that is required at present for testing and development purposes. We do have the ability to snapshot with advfs (Tru64) using the clonefset command to create a read-only clone of the fileset to copy, so I may use that also.
