We had several okidata printers at CSI Donner when I worked there - we killed more trees with these little things than you could throw a rock at. Any who, there was a part on the tractor assembly that wore out on a regular basis. For us it was about every 6 to 8 months, and the maintenance guys would be changing that piece.
Instead of a chain, or a gear assembly, it's just two rollers rubbing against each other to advance the paper and sooner or later they're a goner. That's when you get the slow creeping of the paper, and the creeping feeling you should have bought an Epson. :) -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, November 30, 2006 14:40 To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [U2] Printer Creeping I oil the slidebars monthly with 3-in-1 oil.
