Forgot about fuser...

As root, I entered the following:

server:/u1/dbms/TCR# fuser -u /dev/rmt1
/dev/rmt1:
server:/u1/dbms/TCR# 

It did not return any users. 

Then:

server:/u1/dbms/TCR# fuser -u /dev/rmt1.1
/dev/rmt1.1:  1503458(t.luisu)
server:/u1/dbms/TCR#

Luis is in my group. Right now I have him in a headlock.
Killed him, I mean his process.

<SH out and get to su (su -) and then do:

<fuser -u /dev/rmt1

<That should give you a list of PIDs 'attached' to the device. Do:
