This area is very interesting and always one to keep an eye on.  Amazon have
their service, google is always pushing things in this area with their
services, api's and web based apps.  I'm also waiting for Sun to take the
"pilot US only" statement off the front page of www.network.com so I can
apply to try that out although we would need to talk ibm into releasing a PE
for solaris to try out u2 on it.
