Nothing else upgraded. Looking into permissions. Not automated. Not locked. Using QueryBuilder.
Thank you Russ. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Russ Watson Sent: Monday, May 07, 2007 11:52 AM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [U2] wintegrate 6.0 Steve, Did you upgrade anything other than wIntegrate? The file message can be a permissions issue, as you are writing the report as a file to a folder somewhere. If your process is automated, it can also be that the file name is invalid (null or containing asterisks comes to mind). If the file is locked by another application, i.e. you named the file record.txt and then opened it in excel and then attempted to re-run the query without closing excel. Are you generating and executing these queries using Query Builder or some other method? When queries are sent to a PC file, the queries are failing with the message, "Query Import to PC failed. Unable to open or create local file.". If they are sent to the screen, they work fine. When queries that are sent to the screen exceed 80 characters, the data is going down the screen, where before it would change to "wide" mode and handle the data properly. Has anyone else had these problems? Thank you.
