As someone who bought a copy of ABAP/4 programming for the SAP system just to see what it was all about, I can answer a emphatic NO! It's the worst thing I've ever seen in my life. They may be able to make more money, but this is NOT programming as you and I know it.

Of course there will always be those whose attitude is similar to the man with a brain tumor who found a "certified" surgeon who would remove it for $29.95/hour including travel time.
