I am involved in the UniData to UniVerse conversion. Scott is interested in my HIPAAsuite software which uses UniData and his client has already a Universe based system. So it is natural that he does not want another database, if he can do it with just another account.
I am writing now in VB a file transfer utility in Visual Basic. It will create a new file if it does not exist with a pop-up screen to determine the file parameters and otherwise just transfer the data. I will make it available for free when it is done. I was struggling the last few days with setting up a Linux machine and installing Universe PE. I haven't done Linux/Unix in 2 years and it took me awhile to re-activate those parts of my brain.
