I'm trying to copy UniVerse files (all types) from one computer to another using an NFS mount and the Unix cp command, but am getting damaged files because they are in use. They are large files, between 4 and 22 gigs, some hashed, some dynamic, some directories.
I tried to suspend UniVerse and then copy one file or directory, then unsuspend, but that hasn't helped. I am wondering if I need to pause a minute or so between the suspend (uv -admin -L) and the copy?
