We use LifeKeeper for Linux with the companion Steeleye Data Replication
product to replicate UV. We also initially purchased the software from
Zumasys around 4 years ago. I think that was prior to their reselling
DoubleTake. IBM endorses both products for use with their xSeries Intel
servers:

y/

I just upgraded all the hardware and software last March, and we're now
running UV 10.2.7 and RedHat ES 5.1 with LifeKeeper 6.2.1-4 on a pair of
IBM xSeries 3650's. It's very stable. The linux version does require
some scripting knowledge since a custom startup and shutdown script has
to be written for any non-mainstream application (or mainstream ones if
you don't want to pay extra). Any application can be protected, though.
The other applications being protected on our UV cluster are samba,
winbind, postfix, and cron.
