Subject: Delete files on secondary server before restore

We have a primary and secondary Universe server. Daily we run a backup
of Universe 1 and restore it onto our Universe 2 server, in addition we
run transaction logging. I've noticed from looking at the file view
from windows there are many more files on Universe 2 than Universe 1.
This must be happening because we delete a file from U1 and it never
deletes from U2.

I also noticed that if I login to U2, then within an account that gets
restored, create a record that does not exist on U1, then perform a
restore onto U2, and find new file I just created still exists even
after the restore.

How have any of you dealt with these issues? Our primary goal is that
on a daily basis our U2 server is an exact replica of U1. An IBM tech's
recommendation is to write a script to "just delete everything from
Universe 2 before I do the restore." Do any of you have this sort of
script that I could start from or other ways of going about this?

I'm running 10.2.10 on Windows.
