In the account: Run SPIDER at ECL - any problems evident? If any errors, try:
RUN WWPROGS ENABLE.RbO RUN WWLIB REDBACK.UPG (and if it's SB+ enabled also run WW.INITIATE) If still a problem: Now at the OS level on the server: telnet localhost 8401 You should connect to port 8401 - nothing visible, but you should connect..... (use ctrl-] and quit to exit) If that works - your problem is the gateway (probably) - if not have a hard look at your rgwresp.ini and check with "showrgw" after a restart If it doesn't work check your LOGIN paragraph REALLY hard - try commenting it out and see if it makes a difference.. Last check - turn on all the flags in rgwresp.ini and try again - the rgw.log or the ...out and ...err files may point to your issue. All else failing: Post the output from showrgw and your rgwresp.ini and rgw.ini files and we may see something.. Worth mentioning how many weebshares you have as well. Regards JayJay -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Adam Taylor Sent: 12 May 2009 22:03 To: [email protected] Subject: [U2] WebDE suddenly unable to connect Hey all, We have a weird issue with WebDE that has suddenly come up that I'm hoping someone can help point me in the right direction on. Starting today, we are unable to connect to our testing server through WebDE. This is an installation that has been working and stable for some time, but all of a sudden we get an error from rgw.dll that states the following: Can't connect to the account 'rbcorp' (isr-uvt:8401) rc=-1 ... (RedBack ErrorCode = 0xf0060010) (System ErrorCode=11004 - The requested name is valid, but no data of the requested type was found. ) We have stopped and restarted services, rebooted both UV and Web servers, and constantly get the same error. This is WebDE 4.4.0 on the Windows platform. Any ideas as to what might have caused this to start out of the blue? We are having no problems with our development and production environments, which are set up identically.
