I am running it with Fedora 7. You have to edit the install scripts and replace 'decompress' with 'gunzip'. There might be some other error messages coming up and you might have to install some other libraries. I never write it down when I go through it.
Other than that it runs very nice. It feels by factor 10 faster than Windows. Later versions didn't do it for me and neither did Novell/Suze which I like the most of the Linux distributions.
