UDT.OPTIONS 91 ON list FILENAME DICT1 DICT2 ... TO DELIM "|" FILENAME.TXT
UDT.OPTIONS 91 makes the statement use the CONV values (ie 20 JAN 2010 not 15361) in the resulting txt file. It's in the current directory although you can put the full path in if you want it somewhere else. This is certainly the simplest way but it doesn't handle MV data very well. There is a utility called DOWNLOAD at <http://www.cedarville.edu/departments/compserv/ftp.htm> that also creates txt files but handles MV data much better.
