We changed from standard licensing to device licensing because of the fact that many of our users have multiple sessions open of the same IP. It has helped tremendously. We use to run out of licenses on a regular basis with only 75 users on a 117 license system. Now we have kept the same number of licenses except they are device licenses and we hardly ever run out. The only time that we have is when we had too many objects left as zombies and it was a heavy day for the web. Just as an aside we use Accuterm which has a configuration selection for device licensing.
