Unless you do a uvbackup/uvrestore. Also, if you're running it on
RH/Itanium ... see below.

Is Itanium x86-compatible? I'm not sure it is ... so you may find you
cannot get a version of UV to run on Itanium. As mentioned elsewhere
check the compatibility matrix.

Oh - and if HP-Ux and Itanium run on same-endian hardware, then you
shouldn't need any conversion utilities - it's quite *possible* (not
certain, but very likely) that just copying both UV and your accounts,
then re-installing the correct version of UV over the copied version,
will result in a working system. Suck it and see.
