I am about to try to upgrade an old Unidata server running Unidata 3.x on SGI Irix, to another machine running Windows Server 2003. I am going to set up the Windows box with Unidata 7.2.7 PE initially.
Has anyone tried such a drastic move? What is the best upgrade path to try? Unidata 3.x on Irix to Unidata 7 on Linux, then on to Unidata 7 on Windows? Or would a single jump upgrade actually work, with the help of vocupgrade and PATHSUB?
