does that not work for the OPs mise en scène? (see what else I did there using 
ase instead of if? More of a Volvo than a Ford a little bit boxy, but quite 
afe).

I think people are missing the original post.  A WHILE or UNTIL on the
OR...NEXT doesn't work for this scenario.  That is why I suggested the
OOP...UNTIL...DO...REPEAT construct.
