For a single line. I don't understand how an IF would know, for multiple lines, where it's supposed to end. With a semi colon? Horrible. Computer languages should be written for humans to read, not machines.

I took a beginner's course in Python at the University of Washington because I didn't know much besides Prime Information, Henco's Info, Structure/4, UniVerse, UniData and MITS. It was fun to learn Python as the syntax was so similar to Pick basic. Program controls is through indentation, which we usually use anyway. They even go Pick one better: an IF statement doesn't need an END. They all require one, right, so why not assume it? I love that thinking. Learn some Python. You'll be glad you did. _______________________________________________ U2-Users mailing list [email protected] http://listserver.u2ug.org/mailman/listinfo/u2-users _______________________________________________ U2-Users mailing list [email protected] http://listserver.u2ug.org/mailman/listinfo/u2-users _______________________________________________ U2-Users mailing list [email protected] http://listserver.u2ug.org/mailman/listinfo/u2-users
