oops - hit send too soon...
... except that on first inspection the Speed Up stops the (UV docs) indexes from working. This may be an index version thing but I normally just move the following plugins out of the plugins directory and Reader goes much faster...
Did you try selecting the 'search5' plugin in the speed up utility menu, maybe uv docs use that.
