has emerged as a response to the challenges of intelligent web applications.

Artificial intelligence, databases, distributed systems, data mining and
information retrieval
and many other areas of research are required for the development of
cooperative information
agents.

This special session is devoted to the new and innovative
techniques used for building intelligent agents and their
applications. Topics of this special session include but
not limited to:

Applications of Intelligent Agents
Architectures of intelligent agents
Agents for electronic commerce applications
Collaborating agents
Multiagent system
Uncertain reasoning and intelligent agents
Mobile agents
Intelligent agents applications in information retrieval and data mining
from the Internet and Web
Learning techniques for agents
