Call for Workshops
The Eighteenth International Symposium on
Methodologies for Intelligent Systems (ISMIS'09)
September 14-17, 2009
University of Economics, Prague, Czech Republic
The scope of ISMIS'09 is intended to represent a wide range of topics on
applying Artificial Intelligence techniques to areas as diverse as decision
support, automated deduction, reasoning, knowledge based systems, machine
learning, computer vision, robotics, planning, databases, information
retrieval, etc.
Besides the main technical program, ISMIS'09 will host a small number of
workshops on specific or interdisciplinary topics related to the main
symposium themes. The workshops should provide the opportunity to present
and discuss ongoing work and new ideas.
The organizers of accepted workshops will be responsible for their own
paper selection process, publicity (i.e., website and call for papers),
program design and proceedings production. They will be required to closely
cooperate with the Workshop Chair and the ISMIS'09 local organizers to
finalize all organizational details.
The ISMIS'09 organizers will be responsible for registration management,
proceeding distribution, publishing the link to workshop information on the
ISMIS'09 web site, and room reservation.
The workshop attendees must pay the ISMIS'09 workshop registration fee.
Registering to the ISMIS symposium is not mandatory for workshop attendees;
however, the workshop registration fee will be reduced for participants who
also register for the main symposium.
