Unfortunately, there are security issues in letting web pages detect 
whether Ubiquity is installed. There was a recent discussion about this 
here: 
http://groups.google.com/group/ubiquity-firefox/browse_thread/thread/782a005dcabd547c/

At the moment, the best you can do is:

* Link a page to the command feed,
* Ask the users to install Ubiquity (include a link to the xpi) if they 
don't see the Ubiquity subscription bar at the top of the page.


I wish there were a more streamlined way of doing this (that doesn't 
involve security issues).
