There are few good ways of handling it. Many ways, but few good.

UBNT is supposed to be adding functionality to specify the available data rate
at which the Ethernet cuts, forcing OSPF. A better way would be OpenFlow,
Performant, etc.

Subject: [Ubnt_users] Recommendation for Rainfade / Bonding

I’ve finally setup my 1st AirFiber24 connection with the knowledge that Rain
Fade is going to work against me.

1) How can I determine my rain fade. Everyone talks about it but I can not find
a definition.

2) I have Mikrotik Routers on either end with a the former link, a set of
PowerBridges, still in place.

Recommendations on the type of bonding others use. I want to bond the two links
together for failover. No much help yet on the Mikrotik Forum.
