Rick: Thanks! I'd found the digital loggers but didn't know about the Tycon.
Like Josh said, I'm hoping to find a solution that lets me handle a mix of 24V and 48V PoE devices on the same device, with the constraints that my primary input power is 48VDC and that I want rackmount formfactor. That's why I'd been thinking to invert the 48 to AC and use an EdgeSwitch. Josh - for inverters I've found this, which is a bit pricy but has ethernet monitoring: https://www.tessco.com/products/displayProductInfo.do?sku=511024&eventGroup=4&eventPage=1 as well as a 2U rackmount bracket Cost-wise, their smaller "site inverter" model http://www.ict-power.com/products/display_siteinverter.php?id=1250 is closer to what I'm looking for because it's cheaper and fits in 1U, but doesn't have a monitoring capability. I'd ideally like to know V-in and total current draw. ᐧ
