I can understand this perspective. I can hardly abide putting in anything with less than AirFiber bit/Hz efficiency these days… *But* sometimes you need to occupy spectrum so you can grow into it. Networks have to be initially built larger than current need, as we don't have the ability to organically grow with no constraints, using spectrum at 100% efficiency all of the time.
