Haha...... Hearing that from a WISP it tends to be an oxymoron... We don't think twice about throwing up a sector with a 20mhz or 40mhz channel sometimes to just serve one customer? How come conservation does not apply in this scenario ?
So, if everyone was so worried about conserving resources, then why do WISP's overbuild in another WISP's area ? If everyone was going to play the game fair and square, then why don't license holders remove older, not in use licenses from the FCC database in a timely manner ? Like I said, I did not invent the rules of the game, and I am definitely not one of the first ones who came to play this game... Now if you say, we should not be homesteading Spectrum, I am right there with you... but base on the rules of the game, who are you to tell me that I should use "efficient" radios ? :) Sit back, and think about it... and give it some deep thought as to Who perpetuated that message into the industry? Is there Shortage of Spectrum ? or is it actually Created ? and Why is it beneficial to have such a 'Shortage' Created ? and BTW, in regards to Mimosa B11.... they get a pass for being a channel hog... because they also allow you to reuse the channel in a different direction due to GPS Sync capabilities ...... yes it does not help if you are not using non Mimosa Radios... :) Faisal Imtiaz Snappy Internet & Telecom 7266 SW 48 Street Miami, FL 33155 Tel: 305 663 5518 x 232 Help-desk: (305)663-5518 Option 2 or Email: [email protected] ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Nick Bright" <[email protected]> > To: "Ubiquiti Users Group" <[email protected]> > Sent: Friday, April 14, 2017 10:52:53 AM > Subject: Re: [Ubnt_users] 4096 QAM (was: 24Ghz link Airfiber) > Everybody having that attitude is what causes the problem in the first > place, Faisal. > > On 4/13/2017 10:35 PM, Faisal Imtiaz wrote: >> "Conserve Spectrum" .... >> "Waste of Resources".... >> "Spectrum Efficiency"..... >> >> Where are you folks living ?
