Hi, I tried to upgrade gnome today and then got a message that packages were broke. It then wanted to completely uninstall gnome. My question is should we only use distupgrade and take what ubuntu offers. When I did aptitude install gnome it showed what appeared to be a upgrade for it, but ended up causing a lot of problems.
