Hehe! Thanks.
Well I forgot several points in which marketing efforts could be made and in
which Ubuntu is strong
- *Browsers*, and social tools integration. The menu with the broadcast
options, Gibber, and Ubuntu One.
- *Desktop Eye Candy and Compiz effects*. In the same fashion as Win7. It
is kind of cheap-tricks, but something of this should be showed and in the
end, people, the general user, do care about it. When I see someone using a
Mac still surprises me their workflow and the effects, Expose, Spaces ...
the window animations. We have all those, we only need to show them.
- *Shortcuts*. People enjoy feeling in control of their computers. OSX
users use to care more about shortcuts, and that makes them look more
proficient and cooler. We should not forget we are targeting (mainly, I
think) the general user, that will be surprised, or even better, not
surprised, seeing that Ubuntu is playing in the same league as Win7, OSX.
Just if we had Steam!!
Best regards,
Alex

I'm glad you kept it concise ;-)
Just kidding, that was a lot of great input. It also shows we do have to
make choices here and there.

Jan
