I probably should have mentioned that. what is ipod video (format, resolution etc)? > kk Usually I stick to mp4 encoded at QVGA/ 512kpbs (I don't need TV out from the ipod so 512 is ample on the small screen). Resolution is 320x240. Also, in reply to Andy in regard to Rhythmbox, it picks up the ipod and I can play from it fine but tends to crash when trying to copy from the local library.
