My Dell Latitude 2100 came with Ubuntu 9.04 pre-installed (though it said 8.10 on the papers and the website). It was a good installed though the Xserver wasn't configured right and a part of the touchscreen driver wasn't installed (xserver-xorg-input-evtouch I believe).
But they're quite descent and my problems were probably due to the fact that I had a very exotic build (loads of extra options).
