** Summary changed:
- SCons package not up to date in Intrepid
+ Please sync scons 1.0.1-1 (main) from Debian experimental (main).
** Description changed:
- Binary package hint: scons
+ Please sync scons 1.0.1-1 (main) from Debian experimental (main).
- I asked a question (43229) but am now escalating to a bug:
+ Explanation of the Ubuntu delta and why it can be dropped:
+ Ubuntu change (from bug #87077) can be dropped, it has been
+ fixed upstream with this change:
+ - Add a script for creating a standard SCons development system on
+ Ubuntu Hardy. Rewrite subsidiary scripts for install Python and
+ SCons versions in Python (from shell).
- SCons has now released 1.0.0, and indeed will release 1.0.1 shortly, but
- the package in Intrepid is still 0.98.5. 1.0.0 has made it into Debian
- Sid and Lenny, so it really needs to be in Ubuntu Intrepid. Is someone
- handling this?
+ Changelog since current intrepid version 0.98.5-1ubuntu1:
+
+ scons (1.0.1-1) intrepid; urgency=low
+
+ * New upstream release.
