Ok, so landscape-client doesn't work like that. It should be started by
root via its initscript at /etc/init.d/landscape-client.
We can, of course, make the error more friendlier, i.e., not crash and
give a meaningful error message instead. So, I'm marking this as
confirmed, but it's a low priority.
