hello again. okay, i have done a frsh and complete install of intrepid ibex (alpha 5) which if i remember rightly is using the latest kernel. ive tried bluetooth again, but no joy. i have a total of 8 usb ports on my system, and i have tried my usb dongle in all of them and had the same result, that being nothing happens, as in zero, nada, zip. the dongle is working because i can put it into any of the other systems in the house and it is detected straight away, and thats with out having to install anything.
as far as i can tell all the required bluetooth packages are already installed with intrepid ? but due to some issues with adept it is a little hard to tell, according to adept i have the following installed (dont know if this will help) - bluez-utils version 3.26-1ubuntu1 and bluez-cups version 3.26-1ubuntu1 like i said the dongle works fine, apart from the original issue (the paring problem) on all the linux systems i have (3 in all) and on the systems running xp it also works fine. anyway as requested i have attached the 3 logs required, hope it helps. (i have combined them into 1, as i would have to attach them separate to each other) ** Attachment added: "logs.txt" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/17595609/logs.txt -- bluetooth still broken in hardy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/248056 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
