I went back an looked at everything that had been upgraded or changed on my system in the last few weeks. I focused on anything that changed the Xorg.conf file and came up with a change I had done to add a Wacom. I commented out the lines for the Wacom and it fixed the problem. I am not sure whether I misstyped something or there is a problem with the wacom driver.
