I got stuck in a loop:

> apt-get -f install

prompts the following:

( > nvidia-glx-177-dev: Hängt ab: nvidia-glx-177 (>= 177.70) ist aber nicht
installiert)
 > nvidia-glx-177-dev: Depends on: nvidia-glx-177 (>= 177.70) but is not
 > installed

since nvidia-glx-177 still refuses to install itself because of the
error at the very beginning of this report, I tried to remove the
erraneous package:

> apt-get remove --purge nvidia-glx-177-dev

but that wouldn't do it, it just gives me a hint to run apt-get -f
install :-(
