Hi. I tried the below, and checked "disable all add-ons" then ran it, and it still has "roaming" blank blocks. Even with the add-ons disabled, I still have the Navigation bar and the Bookmarks bar available.
Now, although I have been informed that Firefox does not go past 3.0 for Linux, I am runing Hardy 8.04 and the below is what I get from info from Firefox: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.3) Gecko/2008092510 Ubuntu/8.04 (hardy) Firefox/3.0.3 But this has been a problem long before the upgrade. Also, in case you are wondering, I am running 1 gig of ram, and 2.8 ghtz cpu. with 64 megs mem for video.
