Thanks, Bryce. I will try to get this information for you on my current Hardy environment. Just to be certain, though, I should clarify that this is a problem with Intrepid install and I have no way of getting log files from that (to my knowledge). Having to use the vesa driver under Hardy isn't bothering me...
