I think that the gdm theme looks better than the previous one. Possibly if the wallpaper had similar colored circles it might look pretty good. What spoils the wallpaper is the green and magenta circles. The green is especially distracting. The shade of brown used in the wallpaper seems to look alright with the default theme and the included dark theme.Possibly some fine tuning of the colors of the circles would give the default wallpaper a pleasant effect.
