It is not a hardware issue, as this hardware works with all other
operating systems (macos, windows xp, windows vista, grml, suse) and
ubuntu 8.04 out of the box, so this is a regression. So, if the ubuntu
guys don't want to fix it because it maybe is a kernel bug that is also
present in the vanilla kernel thats ok, but please don't say this is a
hardware issue.
