That's right, I've used their .run. I've manually install the 96, 173 and 177. Here's some /var/log and xorg.conf if those might be of any help.
I've also run : sudo apt-get install --reinstall libgl1-mesa-glx xserver-xorg-core sudo apt-get install --reinstall nvidia-177-kernel-source nvidia-177-modaliases nvidia-glx-177 and those reinstall correctly. nvidia-settings still return : "Erreur de segmentation (core dumped)" And jockey-gtk is still not aware of anything (blank window and no proprietary driver in use notification). ** Attachment added: "var.log-nvidia96.tar.gz" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/18342928/var.log-nvidia96.tar.gz -- Xorg crashed with SIGSEGV while trying NVIDIA to install drivers https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/279113 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
