We are fixing this in landscape-client by adopting the following
versioning scheme:
landscape-client-<version>-0ubuntu0.<distro>
For example:
hardy: landscape-client-1.0.23-0ubuntu0.8.04
dapper: landscape-client-1.0.23-0ubuntu0.6.04
and so on.
If there is a packaging change, then we bump the release number in this
way:
landscape-client-1.0.23-0ubuntu0.8.04.1
landscape-client-1.0.23-0ubuntu0.8.04.2
and so on.
