** Tags added: stopwords tracker ** Description changed:
I noticed that Tracker search tool has a strange behaviour with the word "JUST". If I type "just" nothing is found, even if I have files called "*just*". If I type "just" plus "something" I get the same result as if I type only "something". eg.: If I search for "just radiohead" i got all radiohead's songs in my disk and not only "Just.mp3". + + ------------ + Description Update, 18 Oct 2008 + The word "just" is ignored because it is a "stopword". I believe that is meaningless to consider a word a stopword when it's all you type. If I only type "Just" the word "Just" must be considered relevant by the search tool! ** Summary changed: - Tracker has a strange behaviour with word "just" + Tracker, bad use of stopwords ** Tags added: stop word -- Tracker, bad use of stopwords https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/177524 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
