I am now using: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.3) Gecko/2008092510 Ubuntu/8.04 (hardy) Firefox/3.0.3 The page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Multilingual_support_(Indic) is now rendered correctly. The difficulty is that like a person who wakes up and falls asleep and wakes up and falls asleep again, the Indic font rendering works and then stops working and then works again. I suspect that sometimes the Debian/Ubuntu package does not have the correct options compiled in and at other times it does. A little better QA during compilation might fix this problem once and for all. I do not run 8.10 beta and cannot comment on performance using it. I think you can close this bug for 8.04 because it does not exist at present. Thanks.
