This bug is also present in the current linux-image-2.6.24-21-server kernel in hardy. These Qlogic controllers are, for example, delivered with the Sun X4*00 Servers of which some are certified (what ever that means) from canonical (http://www.ubuntu.com/partners/sun). No, I don't have commercial Support ... but, well, take it as a hint. I find this bug to be at least "important", despite the fact that it can relatively easy be fixed.
