Let's try to be rational here. The Ubuntu developers have been very busy putting together the best release of Ubuntu yet. I'm sure they'd like to include it in the release, but things don't always work out the way we want them too. If 3.0.x doesn't make it into main by release time, hopefully it will be officially supported and added to main soon after the fact. Even if that doesn't happen, you can expect to see it in backports, or you can use the PPA that Yannick has graciously put together for us.
I know it's frustrating when our favorite package isn't kept up to date, but let's be thankful for all the hard work and time the developers have put into making the rest of Intrepid Ibex totally awesome! -- Please update Ekiga to 3.00 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/274085 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
