Observations. Live USB Ubuntus boot fast, real fast. Install to a HD from a live USB is real quick also. About a 25% of the time of the install from the live CD at least on my machine. If I were to install Ubuntu on another persons machine I would use a live USB drive. USB creator will be a great tool once the bugs are worked out.
