I'm experiencing the same thing, but it does not appear to be related to alsa pcm volume. Rather it appears that pulseaudio just hangs after coming out of sleep. This is a regression from what happened on Hardy, where pulseaudio would continue to work after coming out of sleep. Killing and restarting pulseaudio seems to fix the problem.
For reference, here's my sound information: http://www.alsa- project.org/db/?f=7b47419439ee26f53fd66316a94e0b549bf19521 -- intrepid: after sleeping sound not working even cause apps to hang https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/288652 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
